Blake Wilkey and KMC Wheels? Yeah, that makes sense. The guy’s been sending it harder than just about anyone in the off-road scene, and now he’s rolling with the team. From ripping across the desert in Megalodon, his Class 11 bug, to launching JAWS, his wild trophy bug, Wilkey’s built a reputation on pure, unfiltered mayhem. If there’s a jump, he’s hitting it. If there’s a line nobody else sees, he’s taking it. And now, he’s doing it on KMC’s forged beadlocks, built for the kind of abuse only he can deliver.
"KMC stepped up in a big way. Their involvement with Hoonigan and the opportunity to collaborate on projects like Urban Assault 4 made this an easy choice. It’s always tough making a change, but when you have brands that truly back what you do, push creativity, and open new doors, it’s exciting. I’m stoked for the new adventures ahead with KMC."

About Wilkey
The California native has made a name for himself not just behind the wheel but across the entire off-road scene. Whether he’s shredding the desert in a high-horsepower rig, putting together wild builds, or dropping viral content, Wilkey brings an energy to the sport and culture that’s impossible to ignore. His mix of professional racing chops and unfiltered, send-it mentality has built him a massive following, but it’s his ability to blur the lines between racer, builder, and content creator, that really sets him apart.
"It’s cool to have new adventures, new opportunities, and to go experience those things with like-minded people who really support the program." - Wilkey

Blake Wilkey’s Urban Assault videos put him on the map, with his turbocharged V8 VW Bug ripping through city streets, hopping stair sets, and generally causing a scene. Since dropping the first video, the series has pulled in over 6.4 million views, and his Shreddy Lyfe channel keeps growing, proving he’s just as much a force in media as he is behind the wheel.
The best part? He’s got the race wins to back it up. He took the Unlimited Class win at the 2019 Mint 400, regularly throws down at King of the Hammers, and stays in the mix at some of the roughest desert races out there. His Class 11 VW Bug, the "Slug Shark," has stacked up 19 straight finishes, including 16 race wins over two seasons, which is pretty unheard of in that class. In 2020, he grabbed first at the SkullRush 250 in Nevada and the GG Lighting Freedom 200 in California, just adding to the list.
