Last Thursday we loaded up the truck and headed out to Parker, AZ to support the teams and community at the Best in the Desert BlueWater Challenge held at the BlueWater Resort and Casino.

As the temperatures rose to over 100 degrees in the sun, the racers and fans kept showing up on Friday for the contingency event held in the casino parking lot.

Fans of all ages were in attendance checking out the trucks and buggies ranging from half-a-million-dollar builds to garage-brew projects.

On top of giving out stickers, koozies and pens to all the fans, we also gave out over 200 bottles of ice-cold water to keep everyone hydrated.

In the end, a few hundred people rolled through in preparation for the weekend’s event and we made an impact on almost every single one through our booth, giveaways, signage on trucks and shirts, and continued hydration.

Despite the rough, hot and dry conditions, KMC Wheels driver Apdaly Lopez ended up pulling off a 2nd place overall finish at the event in his RPM Offroad / KMC Wheels Ford Trophy Truck.
