About Jeff

Jeff’s racing background is unlike other household names in the industry. He is a first-generation off-road racer whose determination and perseverance paved the way for many wins and podium placements.

Jeff grew up surfing in Southern California before embarking on his successful off-roading racing career. Jeff was drawn to racing through his competitive nature. However, it wasn’t until starting his first business, an action sports clothing brand in his college dorm room, that Proctor was able to buy his first motocross bike and begin his lifelong journey in off-road racing.
Jeff’s debut behind the wheel came in 2006 in the Jeepspeed class with Jason LaFortune. The duo raced together for several years before solidifying their powerhouse reputation in racing with a Baja 1000 class victory. Later that year, Jeff raced his own bike in the BITD (Best In The Desert) claiming an impressive season championship in the +30 Expert Bike class.

In 2013, Jeff set his sights on four wheel racing. He went on to race in the Trophylite Spec Class with Coen Racing where he placed 2nd at Parker and The Mint 400.

Today, Jeff has embarked on his most ambitious chapter of his race career – Partnering with American Honda, HPD-Honda Performance Development and Honda Powersports to create an Off-Road Racing Factory Mega Team. Jeff will not only pilot a custom Honda unlimited Twin Turbo off-road race vehicle but also direct and oversee the team’s entire race operation, including a two car Honda Talon Side by Side team in 2020. Jeff will lead his team and Honda to the podium, bringing more high-level race teams to the exciting sport of off-road racing.

Jeff is a fierce competitor with his helmet on; yet enjoys the business aspect of racing behind the scenes. In addition to racing Honda Ridgeline Factory Racing, he runs the Factory Honda Talon program for American Honda. The Talon program was designed to bring young talent into the Honda family and development their race craft and ability to move up the ladder in motorsports. he lives by the motto; "Have Passion, inspire action, and pursue excellence."
