MILLVILLE, Minnesota (July 12, 2012) -- Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett and Broc Tickle are making their way to the seventh round of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at the Spring Creek National in Millville, Minn., this Saturday July 14.
Baggett is riding high after sweeping both 250 motos and earning the overall at last Saturday’s race at the RedBud National, and holds on to the 250 points lead and red plate for the sixth consecutive week. Teammate Broc Tickle has become a quiet force in the 450 class. He is currently fifth in 450 point standings, and is only 16 points away from nabbing fourth.
Baggett is looking forward to this Saturday’s race at Millville. He has his sights set on his fourth win of the season, and he’s looking to have a little fun in the process. He is currently leading the 250 class by 19 points.
“Millville is a sweet track,” said Baggett. “I’m just going to have fun and ride my dirt bike.”
Tickle knows what it feels like to stand on the 450 podium after earning second a few weeks ago at the Budds Creek National. He enjoys the track at Millville, and is feeling confident that a solid ride there will lead to a podium finish that will move him up the ranks in 450 point standings.
“I really like Millville,” said Tickle. “It was my very first national and I have had some of my best races there. I’m looking to get back on the podium and have a solid weekend.”
