Carl Renezeder begins his 14th year of Short-Course Racing: Win a ride!

Mar 26 2012

LAKE FOREST, CA (March 22, 2012) - Carl Renezeder begins the fourteenth year of his short-course off-road career with a contest for his fans to win a ride-along with the legend himself. With 97 wins in his record book, the countdown to Renezeder's hundredth career win is well underway on his social networking sites and fans are jumping at the chance to fly through the air and throw some dirt with The Man.

"Not only has Nissan come back to our program, but they've launched the partnership in a huge way," explained Renezeder, who will run Nissan Titan trucks in both the Pro-2 and Pro-4 classes in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. "They're giving fans a chance to climb in our two-seater truck with me - I can't wait to give someone the ride of their life!" Renezeder's team has spent the short off-season making sure the hundredth win happens sooner rather than later. Crew chief Bill Smith has been fine-tuning and refining the trucks front to back, from suspension to drivetrain, giving Renezeder trucks that will be powerful, nimble, predictable and flat out fast.

"We continually worked on these trucks throughout last season, and with the progress we've also made this off-season, we feel more confident in our program than ever," commented Renezeder.

Sponsors are confident in the program as well. In addition to the return of Nissan Motorsports, Optima Batteries and Eibach Springs are new to Team Renezeder for 2012. In its fourteenth year, Lucas Oil returns as a steadfast and loyal partner, as do General Tire, Team Associated, KMC Wheels and E3 Spark Plugs.

K&N Filters is back with the team, and Arizona Driveshaft, Embee Performance, Fortin Transmissions, HJC Helmets, King Shocks, Magnaflow, MSD, RaceProven, Schroth, PUMA, Cobra Seats, Tubeworks, VP Racing Fuels and XRP will all be onboard for the hundredth win and beyond.

"I can't wait to climb into my racetrucks next week," continued Renezeder. "We put in countless hours and effort, and we get eight weekends this year to prove that it's all worthwhile. Bring it."

Follow the team on Facebook and on Twitter and enter the contest to win a ride-along with eight-time champ Carl Renezeder.
